Komatsu to begin dump truck output in Russia

Komatsu Company plans to start output of large dump trucks in Russia in the coming 2011.

The company is the world's No. 2 construction machinery manufacture after Caterpillar. It expects to make 20 to 30 of the model HD785 mining truck at its factory in Yaroslavl, north of Moscow for the first year.

It also intends to increase production, from the second year according to market requirement. Russia's construction machinery market will continue to grow, said the company's chairman, Masahiro Sakane.
