SINOWAY Rapid Impact Compaction Machine (RIC) is about to land Brazil

Our SWRD85 Rapid Impact Compactor will launch to Brazilian market soon. Similar to RIC 7000, this RIC compactor is mounted on a standard excavator (Normally 36-45 ton excavator) which acts as the base unit and provides hydraulic power to the hammer. The 7000 kg hydraulic weight that is repeatedly dropped on a 1.5 m tamper foot to densify sand soils up to 3-5 m deep and each blow of hammer can produce a spectacular 84 KN.m energy.

Driven by substantial investment in infrastructure, a growing construction industry, and the need for efficient ground improvement techniques, the rapid impact compactor machine market in Brazil is growing.

Rapid Impact Compaction (RIC) is a ground improvement method that densifies existing surficial granular soil layers up to about 3-9 m. Soil treated by this method results in increased density, friction angle, and overall stiffness, which results in increased bearing capacity and decreased settlement of planned structures.
