Overview of China Excavator Industry

Nowadays, China is becoming the world's largest excavator market. Almost all the famous excavator manufactures have set up their wholly owned or joint ventures enterprises in China to manufacture and sale their respective brands of excavators. The huge market also stimulated the development of Chinese national brands. At present, the specifications of domestic brands excavator focus on the 30 tons below. The specification of mini excavator below 6 tons is relatively complete, and the model above 30 tons was very few. The model above 200 tons is almost blank.

Domestic excavator was developed based on the mechanical building single-bucket excavators. From the first 0.5 m3 and 1.0 m3 crawler excavators mechanical transmission crane successfully produced in 1995, to the 70's China entered into independent research and development period of internationalization, we can say the development road of domestic excavator is a composition of walking study.

Now China has become the world's excavator manufacturing country. And Chinese excavator market has become the international market, and the world's largest market. The join in of the foreign companies promoted the rapid development and growth of China excavator industry. This also forced China domestic excavator manufactures to seriously study and receive advanced concepts and methods, and made great efforts in the excavator manufacturing technology, enterprise management, product sales and services, facing to the market pressure, and then transferred to the power of pursuit.

At present, China excavators are developing to the sophisticated design, precision manufacturing, refining working direction. The so-called sophisticated design is from the aspects of energy saving, emission reduction, noise reduction, resource consumption reduction, human-machinery harmony and multi-function products and professional of products; the so-called precision manufacturing is that the detail of process control should be stronger, and achieved the consistency of process, to minimize the maintenance process, to reduce the cost and improver the supply and marketing; the so-called refining working is the aspect of expanding excavator function, such as the construction work of high-grade, sophisticated and risk geion.
