The 25th Anniversary of Bobcat compact excavator

In 2012,Bobcat will celebrate its 25 years of success in the compact excavator market. During the last 25 years, the company has become the premier manufacturer of compact excavator and the global leader in compact construction equipment industry.

Bobcat compact excavator began in 1987. At that time, Demand was so strong that one decision was made to design and manufacture the company's own line of excavator products. This led to the birth in October 1988 of the company's first compact excavator product, built in collaboration with a Japanese manufacturer and introduced to European dealers from Portugal. In 1989, Bobcat began production of its own line of compact excavators at the company's plant in Bismarck in North Dakota, USA.

Scott Nelson, President for the Europe, EMEA region at DI CE, said that they were very proud of their achievements in the compact excavator market over the last 25 years. That was a tribute to the tremendous efforts and commitment of their sales and Most importantly, they thanked all their excavator customers for their loyalty to the Bobcat brand.
