Case Launches New Excavator

Case Construction Equipment launched its CX470C full-sized crawler excavator. The machine is the newest in the Case C Series excavator that features increased fuel efficiency, productivity and improved serviceability and operator comfort, with a Tier 4-Interim diesel of rated 362 net horsepower .

The CX470C MEX is designed for heavier loads and larger buckets achieving higher productivity in large excavation jobs and high-volume truck loading. The operating weights range is from 105,300 to 108,600 lb., roughly 1,100 lb. heavier than the B series model.

CX470C crawler excavator, like other excavators in Case C Series, installs Intelligent Hydraulic System technology that reduces total fuel consumption and improves performance. CX470C have 6-percent more lift capacity. With standard 11 foot 1 inch-arm, maximum dig radius is 39 feet 4 inches; maximum dig depth is 25 feet 4 inches; and dump height is 25 feet 5 inches. Standard digging force is 189 KN, and standard bucket digging force is 247KN.
