Amphibious Jack-Up Intertidal Drilling Platform to Go

Sinoway just delivered one self-propelled amphibious buggy platform to China Harbor company for their offshore geotechnical survey investigation project in Hengsha island.

This Amphibious jack-up platform includes two tracked pontoons, a deck area for drilling operations, a power pack to drive crawling and jacking activities, a fully enclosed cabin for the operator can be as optional and 4 sets hydraulic jacking up legs with 300 mm diameter which can jack up the whole platform over the water when the tidal comes.

Depending on site conditions, the our self-elevating intertidal drilling platform ranges from beaches during low tide to an approximate maximum water depth of around 5.5 meters, with potential to complete exploration boreholes up to 80 meters deep.

Amphibious platform is an ideal tool for difficult access sites such as marshes, sediment ponds, tailing impoundments, shallow water and inter-tidal zones. The amphibious platform can be outfitted with drilling, CPT and environmental sampling tools depending on the specific project requirements.
