High-energy impact compaction technology is an advanced construction method that utilizes high-amplitude, low-frequency impact energy generated by non-circular rollers under traction to achieve deep compaction of soil and rock. It employs periodic lifting and dropping of non-circular impact wheels (such as triangular or pentagonal shapes) to produce instantaneous impact forces of several hundred tons, combined with kneading and rolling effects, enabling deep compaction at depths of 1.0–2.5 meters. This process achieves 3–4 times higher efficiency than traditional vibratory rollers. By converting gravitational potential energy into kinetic energy, the technology delivers continuous impact, kneading, and rolling effects on the foundation, effectively enhancing the density and load-bearing capacity of roadbeds or foundations.
